orange peels on existing snow-covered rocks
I kept coming across beautiful snow-topped rocks during a residency in the woods, and knew I had to do something with them. It took several days of observing them and trying to think how I might be able to add to them without detracting from their beautiful simplicity, and then this solution popped to mind.
